Put Eng aka Kun, Chief of Group, Hospital P-31, Division 310, confessed that in November 1972, Sun was a member of the Labor Party of Kampuchea and took the responsibility for building up the New Party's forces in preparation for running counter to the Communist Party of Kampuchea in the future.
