But Han lived in Pring village, Pornhea Leang "Kh" sub-district, Preah Sdech district, Region 24. In 1969, he worked as a soldier after joining the CIA in search of the Khmer Rouge. In August 1970, he joined the revolution in Battalion 17, Eastern Zone, and conspired to subvert the revolutionary forces at battlefield until the Angkar made his arrest.
ឈ្មោះ ប៊ុត ហាន កើតនៅភូមិព្រីង ឃុំពញាលាង«ខ» ស្រុកព្រះ សេ្ដច តំបន់ ២៤។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៦៩ ធ្វើទាហានបន្ទាប់មកចូល សេអ៊ីអា តាមដានក្រខ្មែរក្រហម។ នៅខែ៨-៧០ ចូលបដិវត្ដនៅ អង្គភាពវរសេនាតូច ១៧ ភូមិភាគបូព៌ាហើយបានរួមធ្វើសកម្មភាព ក្បត់ កំទេចកម្លាំងបដិវត្ដក្នុងសមរភូមិ និង បំផ្លិចបំផ្លាញបដិវត្ដរហូត ដល់ថ្ងៃអង្គការចាប់ខ្លួន។
