Em Nan aka Em Sokhuon was born on 15 May 1950 in Char Svay Pakk village, Chong Cheach sub-district, Tik Chreou district, Kampong Cham province. Nan joined the revolution on 1st May 1970, Yuvakak on 3rd October 1972, and candidate party on 22nd June 1974. Nan strictly adopted stance toward defending the revolutionary forces, had patriotism in mind, loathed oppressive classes, complied with disciplinary Angkar, did not travel arbitrarily and was not lascivious and, instead, took the responsibility for the tasks provided by the party.
ឯម ណានឈ្មោះបដិវត្ដឯម សុខួន កើតនៅថ្ងៃ១៥-៥-១៩៥០ នៅភូមិចារស្វាយប៉ាក់ ឃុំចុងជាច ស្រុកទឹកជ្រៅ ខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម។ ចូលបដិវត្ដនៅថ្ងៃ១-៥-១៩៧០។ ចូលយុវកកនៅថ្ងៃ៣-១០-១៩៧២។ ចូលបក្ខត្រៀមនៅថ្ងៃ២២-៦-១៩៧៤។ សុខួន ជា មនុស្សប្រកាន់គោលជំហរបក្ខរក្សាការពារកម្លាំងបដិវត្ដ ស្មារតី សេ្នហាជាតិ ស្អប់ខ្ពើមវណ្ណះជិះជាន់ គោរពអង្គការវិន័យ មិនសេរី ដើរហើរមិនភ្លើតភ្លើនមានស្មារតីទទួលខុសទ្រូវគ្រប់ភារកិច្ចដែលបក្ខ ប្រគល់ឱ្យ។
