Mom Chantha got married to Din Vann-ne in 1985. He has two children. His father called Mom Chann Than died. His father was ordered to kill in Kraing Tachann by the chief of Trapeang Kou village called Suong. His mother called Toek Phan is now 58 years old. He has 5 siblings.In the Khmer Rouge regime, he was lacking of food, water, medical care, and shelter. He was brainwashed. He was forced to separate from his family members. He has suffocated from 1993 until now. He used to loose consciousness for many times. Recently, he is avoiding thoughts associated with the traumatic experience.
មុំ ចន្ធារៀបការជាមួយឌិន វ៉ាន់ណេនៅឆ្នាំ១៩៨៥។ គាត់មានកូន២នាក់។ ឪពុកឈ្មោះមុំ ចាន់ថនស្លាប់់។ ឪពុករបស់ចន្ធាត្រូវប្រធានភូមិឈ្មោះសួងជាអ្នកបញ្ជាយកទៅសម្លាប់នៅគុកក្រាំងតាចាន់។ ម្ដាយឈ្មោះតឹក ផានលូវអាយុ៥៨ឆ្នាំ។ គាត់មានបងប្អូន៥នាក់។ នៅសម័យខែ្មរក្រហម គាត់ខ្វះខាតម្ហូបម្ហា ទឹក ថ្នាំពេទ្យ និង ជម្រកស្នាក់នៅ។ គាត់ត្រូវគេអប់រំអោយផ្លាស់ប្ដូរគំនិត។ គាត់ត្រូវខែ្មរក្រហមបំបែកចេញពីសមាជិកគ្រួសារដោយបង្ខំ។ គាត់ធ្លាប់មានអាការៈថប់ដង្ហើមពីឆ្នាំ១៩៩៣រហូតមកដល់បច្ចុប្បន្ន។ គាត់ធ្លាប់សន្លប់បាត់បង់ស្មារតីជាច្រើនដង។ បច្ចុប្បន្ន គាត់ចង់ជៀសវាងមិនឱ្យគិតអំពីហេតុការណ៍ដ៏ក្រៀមក្រំចិត្ដពោរពេញដោយការឈឺចាប់របស់គាត់។
