From 6th to 9th August, the Khmer Rouge fired a total of 121 shells on some government armed forces positions in Kampong Thom Province north of Phnom Penh, according to sources at the commission for military cording with the UN, who reported specifically that: On August 6, the Khmer Rouge fired 26 H-107 rockets on the headquarters of the 16 regiment of the Cambodian People's Army in Rumchek.
