Ke Thao aka Nang, medical staff of P-31, confessed that Teng, deputy chief of group, division 117, northern zone, was convinced by him and Sun to adopt a betrayal manner in July 1972. Teng provided protection to the leadership of Kampuchean Labor Party to begin planning to build up treacherous forces and disseminating liberation plans in October 1973. In November 1972, Sun recommended Teng to link with Phoeung.
កែ ថោ ហៅ ណាង ពេទ្យព-៣១ បានឆ្លើយថា ឈ្មោះ តេង អនុក្រុមកងពល ១១៧ ភូមិភាគឧត្ដរ ត្រូវបានខ្លួននិងស៊ុន អប់រំឱ្យក្បត់នៅខែ៧-១៩៧២។ តេង បានយាមការពារឱ្យ មេដឹកនាំបក្ស ពលករកម្ពុជា ប្រជុំលើកផែនការប្រមូលកម្លាំង កសាងទ័ពក្បត់ និង ផ្សព្វផ្សាយផែនការរំដោះប្រទេស ខែ១០-១៩៧៣។ នៅខែ១១-១៩៧២ តេងត្រូវបានស៊ុន ចាត់តាំងឱ្យភ្ជាប់ខ្សែជាមួយឈ្មោះភឿង។
