Chhem Lay, alias Thea, male, disappeared. Interviewed with his younger sister, Chhem Nang, who lives in Prek Liv village, Rorka-A sub-district, Kang Meas district, Kampong Cham province; Lay's father was Chuon Chhem, and his mother was Nut Pol; in addition, he had 9 siblings. When he was a child, Lay didn't go to school because of his family poor conditions; thus, he helped his parents in rice field. Furthermore, it was when Lay grew up that there was a civil war in 1970. After that, there was the resistant movement in the forest. There were airplanes, bombarding in the village; as a result, the whole country has been divided into two parts: 1/ Liberated zone, 2/ Lon Nol zone. In 1974, Lay joined the revolution through Sinat's propaganda. When he first joined the revolution, Lay was a soldier in the district, and he was then sent to the battlefield. In 1975, Lay didn't come back to his home village. It was in 1991 that Lay came back to his home village through his repatriation. Lay told that he ran with his unit until Say Ork calm when the Vietnamese soldiers came into Kampuchea. After that, Lay said that he didn't like living in his home village, so he decided to leave this village. Lay has been disappeared since leaving his home village. Nobody knew where he lived because he didn't tell anyone even his parents and siblings. And, his younger sister, Nang, during the KR regime from 1975 to 1979, was designated to work in a mobile unit, and the KR forced her to overwork. There wasn't enough food to eat. Nang saw the KR soldiers captured about 50 new people to detain in O Tra Kuon pagoda.

បានរៀនសូត្រទេ ព្រោះឪពុកម្ដាយ មានជីវភាពខ្វះខាត ដូចនេះនៅផ្ទះជួយធ្វើស្រែចម្ការ។ ណាមួយពេលធំដឹងក្ដីចំពេល ប្រទេសជាតិកើត សង្គ្រាមនៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧០ មានចលនាចូលពៃ្រ បន្ទាប់មកទម្លាក់គ្រាប់បែកក្នុងភូមិ ប្រទេសទាំងមូលមាន បែងចែក ខាងតំបន់រំដោះនិងតំបន់ លន់ នល់។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ ឡយ តាមការឃោសនារបស់ឈ្មោះ ស៊ីណាត ពេលដំបូងអង្គការ បញ្ជូនទៅទ័ពស្រុក ក្រោយមកទៀតទៅសមរភូមិតែម្ដង។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ ក៏មិនឃើញត្រឡប់មកលេងស្រុកកំណើតវិញដែរ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៩១ ឃើញត្រឡប់មកស្រុកកំណើតវិញ តាមរយៈមាតុ ភូមិនិវត្ដន៍ ឡយ ប្រាប់ថា ពេលកងទ័ពវៀតណាមចូលមកដល់ ឡយ បានរត់ទៅតាម អង្គភាពរហូតទៅរស់នៅជំរំសាយអេក ក្រោយមកទៀត ឡយ ថាមិនចេះរស់នៅក្នុងភូមិក៏ចេញទៅ វិញស្រាប់តែបាត់ដំណឹងដល់ពេលនេះមិនដឹងជាទៅរស់នៅទីណា មិនព្រមផ្ដល់ដំណឹងឱ្យបងប្អូនបានដឹង ទេ។ រីឯ ណាង ជំនាន់ខែ្មរ ក្រហមពីឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ដល់៧៩ អង្គការចាត់តាំងឱ្យ ធ្វើការតាម កងចល័ត ហើយគ្មានអាហារគ្រប់គ្រាន់ ធ្វើការហួសកម្លាំង និងបានឃើញយោធាខែ្មរក្រហមចាប់ប្រជាជនថ្មី ប្រហែល ជា៥០នាក់យកទៅដាក់គុកនៅវត្ដអូរត្រកួន។ |
