Nhem Nen, chief of lathe section, train unit, confessed that Sa Saroeun was a Free Khmer spy hiding in division 170. In planning to fight back the party on September 30, 1976, Khieu Mapp and Nen directly received an order from Sa Saroeun and Chhim Sarin. Ly Phen assigned his former networks to hide themselves in Phnom Penh. After the Angkar arrested Chakrei, all hidden network were in charge of carrying out their own works and reporting to Chhim Sarin and Sa Saroeun through the order the Ly Phen. About planning to attack the party in August 1977, all networks also received a plot from Sa Saroeun and Chhim Sarin.
ញ៉ែម ណេន ប្រធានគ្រឡឹងរោងចក្ររទេះភ្លើង បាននិយាយថា ស សារឿន ជាភ្នាក់ងារខ្មែរសេរីបង្កប់នៅកងពល១៧០។ ផែនការណ៍ វាយបក្សថ្ងៃទី៣០-៩-១៩៧៦ ខៀវ ម៉ាប់ និង ណេន ទទួលបញ្ជា ពីស សារឿន និង ឈិម សារិន។ លី ផែន បានចាត់តាំងខ្សែ ចាស់ៗរបស់ខ្លួនអោយបង្កប់នៅក្រុងភ្នំពេញ។ អ្នកបង្កប់ទាំងនេះ ត្រូវទទួល និងរាយការណ៍អោយឈ្មោះ ឈឹម សារិន និង ស សារឿន តាមការឧទេ្ទសនាមរបស់ លី ផែន ក្រោយពេល ដែលបក្សចាប់ ចក្រី។ គម្រោងការណ៍វាយបក្សខែ៤-១៩៧៧ ក៏ពួកខាងលើបានទទួលពី ស សារឿន និង ឈឹម សារិន ដែរ។
