By most standards Than Theaun should stand trial. The 25 years old Cambodian is a confessed Khmer Rouge killer. He say he was among a band of Pol Pot guerrillas who slipped ashore from boats at the fishing village of Kampong Tralang at the southern end of the country's Great Lake on the night of December 27 and engaged in an orgy of killing.
