អៀង ថន យុទ្ធជនមន្ទីរ ៥០៥ កងពល ៥០២ បានឆ្លើយថា នៅខែ ៧-១៩៧៦ វាដឹងថា អៀច ជាខ្មែរស ដោយសាឈ្មោះ ខា ជាអ្នកប្រាប់ ឯសកម្មភាពរបស់អៀច, អៀង ថន មិនបញ្ជាក់ទេ។
