Amnesty international is concerned at the prison sentence imposed on newspaper editor Chan Rotana on February 27, 1995, at the Phnom Penh Municipal court. Chan Rotana editor of the newspaper Samleng Yuvachen Khmer (voice of Khmer youth), was found guitty of "disinformation" and sentenced to one year's imprisonment and a fine of five million Cambodian riels (approximately 45 $ 2,000).
