We must henceforth anticipate wide-spread bombardment and an eventual occupation of a part of Cambodia by American forces. Said Sihanouk who ordered of the Cambodian armed forces to train guervilas for this eventuality and to take defensive measures, in particular the digging of individual shelter by the civilian populations.
