37-year-old Chao Vann aka Khem, secretary of Kampong Leng district, studied in grade 6. He then had in mind revolutionary struggle. Teacher Sophal invited him to systematically train on the political situation and Leninist theory. From then on, he contributed actively to launching propaganda on the party influence within the populous cycle. After the liberation, he was in charge of people diggingcanals at Prek Thaot, O-Kraing Ambel and Thnal Torting. In 1960, in the revolutionary movement, there were shortcomings of Khem: morality on woman and be proud of victory, freedom of using materials,and, ultimately, event of Santebal security called M-99 to let the enemy kill the revolutionary forces. Angkar arrested Khem at the night of 30 August 1977.
ចៅវ៉ាន់ ហៅ ខិម លេខាស្រុកកំពង់លែងអាយុ ៣៧ឆ្នាំ ។ ពេលរៀនដល់ថ្នាក់ទី ៦ ក៍មានឧត្ដមគតិធ្វើបដិវត្ដន៍ ហើយត្រូវបាន លោកគ្រូ សុផល ហៅទៅបើកវគ្គអប់រំរៀនសូត្រជាខ្សែសង្វាក់ អំពីស្ថានភាពនយោបាយ និងទ្រឹស្ដីឹលេនីន ។ ចាប់ពីពេលនោះមក ខិមបានរួមចំណែកយ៉ាងសកម្មក្នុងចលនាឃោសនាផ្សាយទ្ធីពលបក្សក្នុង ចំណោមមហាជន ។ ក្រោយរំដោះ ខិម មានភារៈកិច្ចមើលការ ខុសត្រូវកម្លាំងជីកប្រឡាយនៅព្រែកត្នោត នៅអូក្រាំងអំបិល និងថ្នល់ទទឹង។ ក្នុងចលនាបដិវត្ដន៍ឆ្នាំ១៩៦០ មកចំណុចខ្វះខាតរបស់ ខិម គឺការប្រព្រឹត្ដសីលធម៌ស្រីញីភ្លើតភ្លើននឹងជ័យជំនះ សេរីក្នុងការប្រើប្រាស់សម្ភារៈ និងរយៈពេលចុងក្រោយគឺ ព្រឹតត្ដិការណ៍នៅមន្ទីសន្ដិបាលហៅ ម-៩៩ ធ្វើឱ្យខ្មាំងបំផ្លាញ កម្លាំងបដិវត្ដន៍បាន ខិមត្រូវបានអង្គការចាប់ខ្លួននៅយប់ថ្ងៃទី ៣០-៨-១៩៧៧ ។
