We forward for your information the attached article from ''le canard Enchainé'' of 13 May. It claims that when Lon Nol was in Paris shortly before the change of government in Phnom Penh, He put to Sihanouk the demand that he return to Cambodia to head a military operation against the sanctuaries and that Sihanouk refused, saying that he would go to Moscow and Peking instead to secure the evacuation.
