I talked at dinner 05th May general fouquet, chief of french general staff. he described president Nixon, in attacking the Sanctuaries, as playing poker but, he presumed, on the basis of knowing where a lot of the cards lay. If the provoked able to find and destroy the sanctuaries quickly and then withdraw, he would win a substantial pot. if he could not, he would lose his shirt. He (fouquet) could not say what be the result he thought Nixon a good hand.
