Summary / Abstract :

In discussing the European council statement (O.DU. 2786) Peterson (who is responsible for Asean affairs in MFA) said he was devoting much of his time to what was regarded as the very serious position on the border with Thailand. He said the FGR accepted that only a small fraction of internationally supplied food was in fact getting to the suffering, for the moment the FRG felt it best to try and concentrate getting aid to and through, Thailand. in his own visit to Thailand, Including to several of the large camp.
