Summary / Abstract :

Mr, Koppen, counsellor, FRG embassy called me this morning at his ambassador's request , to ask for comments on the Micheal Richardson story in the age. I told Mr. Koppen that it was true that we had received an approach from the Cambodian and that the minister had decided not to more on the matter until he thought that public opinous was already for it. I said the question of the establishment of mission in Canberra and Phnom Penh had not been discussed in any way.
