Summary / Abstract :

Raster (Head of employment and social legislation section, foreign ministry) confirmed on 16 October that the United States had asked the FRG to take an unspecified number of Vietnamese and Cambodians refugees. Rastere said that it was '' Fairly certain'' that the FRG would take some, but a decision had not as yet been made as to how many. He though that 3,000 was too high, and suggested 1, 000-2, 000 as a probable maximum.
