It may be of interest to comment briefly on the Kampuchean diplomatic presence in Peking as a sidelight on their projection of an image abroad. For a long time after the victory of the KR in 1975, the Embassy in Peking was virtually incommunicado except presumably, to a very few fraternal near neighbors.
