This morning (April 16) general Vargas called in the minister who took the opportunity to ask the general for his view on Thailand and Cambodia.
Vargas described the security situation in Thailand in familiar terms. In the north the communists operating across Laotian border were establishing bases in the mountainous border area of Chieng Rai and Nam and were getting modern weapon. |
