Ministry of External Affairs has confirmed that request from the New Kampuchea regime for diplomatic relations has been received through Indian Embassy in Hanoi. Government appears in no hurry to respond. Prime Minister has stated that recognition and / or relations can be considered only when new regime is firmly established.
