There has been minimal and cautious reaction at official levels to the overthrow of the Government of Kampuchea. The Prime Minister, Mr. Desai, said on January 08 in talks with the visiting GDR Head of State that it was India's hope that the "disturbing things going on between Kampuchea and Vietnam would be resolved peacefully".
