Summary / Abstract :
|
In the first half of August domestic affairs, for once, dominated the political scene in Cambodia. Prince Sihanouk took advantage of the half-yearly National Congress to bring in a new government, a change which had long been expected at length on the serious economic difficulties confronting Cambodia and he stressed that the new government would represent a "last chance" to salvage the country's economy.
