Summary / Abstract :
|
The government seemed to be drifting in particular no .. new economic discisions were announced and the Cambodians attitude forwards putting the recent IMF opinion in the national assembly was hostile to the government on economic questions. On the credit side, there was some effort at public relations by the government : Ministers and senior officials gave explanatory statement on various aspects of government activities and they went about in the countryside more than before. On 11 June the government called for the neutralization and demilitari-zation of the area of Angkor monuments.
