Sihanouk's sporadic tour of China was again interupted by his return to Peking for the ceaisescu farewell ceremonies like his other Jaunts within China, Sihanouk's excursion to tienttsin was given extensive coverage by Peking media. The Chinese also attempted to make use of ceusescu's visit to further inflate the prince's status cast in the role of chief of state, Sihanouk was accorded equal protocol honore by the Chinese during the Romanian's a visit and the exchanged private calls with ceausescu lou.
