Summary / Abstract :

We have been told by the UNHCR office in Hanoi, in the context of discussion of Cambodians refugees, that the were expectations in Saigon in the first half of May that the Vietnamese were entering a less helpful phase because of trouble on the Cambodian border around Chau Doc (Chau Phu) which had led in the preceding days to a partial evacuation of the town, owing to Cambodian incursions.
