It is no coincidence that Ieng Sary, roving envoy extraordinary to the KR has arrived in Peking when rumors of Secret Cambodian Peace negotiations are hussing around the Chinese capital. The thickset balding Cambodian Communist represents the hard-line faction within the Khmer Front for National Unity (FUNK) whose refusal to compromise with the Lon Nol Government has so far stalled all attempts to initiate some sort of dialogue.
