On his return to Peking July 05 after a 56-day visit to Africa and European countries Sihanouk was greeted with substantial show of Chinese support-before the inevitable welcome banquet. Chou En-lai met with American Parliamentarians, complained about U.S. Cambodia bombing and reiterated China's solid support for GRUNK. Asked what assurances exist that the DRV would not use Cambodia as a staging area for attacks against the GVN if the bombing ends and the U.S.
