The attached article by Thomas Lippman on the training program of the Cambodia armed appeared in the Washington Post on 09 September. Lippman says that the period of basic training for recruits has been cut from eight weeks to six in an attempt to fill some of the gaps which have resulted from recent heavy fighting.
