I arrived in Bangkok on the late afternoon of 29th March.That Evening I attended a buffet dinner given by the Australian Ambassador (Mr. D.O Hay), at which a number of siamese and other resident of Bangkok were present. On 30th March, accompanied by Mr Hay, I called in succession on Prime Wan (the Minister fore foreign Affairs), and on major Rak (the deputy minister for foreign affairs) I also accompanied My Hay and Mr. W.C (Maworth M.P in a call on Marshal Pibul songgram (Prime Minister)
