Sihanouk Press Conference
At the first of a new series of weekly Press conference on 17th March , Prince Sihanouk revealed that Chou En-Lai had accepted a returned invitation to visit Cambodia later this year. He also stated that he had declined a recent invitation to visit Hanoi. Burchett and Grishchenko, the pravda correspondent at Hanoi, were present at the conference but did not take a conspicuous part. A summary of statements made by Sihanouk on relations with communist China, The USSR and north and South Vietnam is attached for your reference. |
