According to a Vietnam Presses report datelined Bangkok, 13 December (Marshal Phi Cunhawan, acting Prime Minister of Thailand, had declared to a journalists that the Thai government proposed to appoint a commission to fix the frontier between Thailand, Laos and Cambodia. He pointed out that Thailand's frontiers with Burma and Malaysia were well defined and presented no problems he added that Laos had agreed in principle to fix the the frontier as the middle of the Mekong, thus bringing some, 30000$ is lets withing siamese territory.
