In a broadcast on 12th October Phnom Penh Radio (23-15) said it was surprised to learn that newspaper in Thailand were full of praise for Son Ngoc Thanh, such praise would encourage him to continued his hostility to the government of Cambodia the station expressed surprise at the attitude of the Thai Press, especially, since the Cambodian elections had ended with a victory for the popular socialist led by Prince Norodom Sihanouk.
