Askew (Cambodian affairs) commented to us on 25th November that the Thais had now continued their expression of resentment against Cambodia for over a month. It had been hope that with Sihanouk out of Cambodia both sides would have calmed . State Department had been surprised by the extent and depth of thai feeling exhibition over the Khao Phra Vihara dispute.
