Sweezey (Thailand affairs) told us on 27th November that Sarit continued to give the appearance of being in good health and full vigour. His vigour was evidence in the interest he was showing in all Phases of government to the point at times of unnecessary interference with the work of officials. So far as the state department knew he was still not drinking.
