Summary / Abstract :

With reference to your information 370 of 10th June, 1959 on this subject, you will by now have heard from other sources that representatives of Red Cross societies of north Vietnam and Thailand began repatriation of Vietnamese refugees in Thailand. I understand from the Thai ambassador that general had originally been suggested as the venue for these talks but the Thais had favoured Rangoon as more convenient.
