Nehru after a few generalities as to his anxiety over the situation passed me to Krishne Memon, who is living in his house. I had been thinking that a visit by you to Nehru on your way to Europe would be useful party to reassure him about western and our own intentions and party to have something to take back from him but now believe that a visit would not be worth it.
