Hammarsk Jold's visit is described by the secretary general ministry of foreign affairs as entry in to contact. Hammarsk jold listened listened sympathetically to what the Cambodian had to say but did not volunteer much in return. He told the French ambassador the Thais were prepared to make ''Some gesture'' to the Cambodians and the prospects were encouraging generally for better relations in so far as south Vietnam was concerned he thought the Western fowers would simply to plug away at Diem to accept Cambodian neutrality.
