Loek Sam-ol heard the names of some Khmer Rouge leaders called Ta Yav, Ta 09, Ta Sim who responsibled for working the army. He worked as a farmer between 1975-1979. Loek Sam-ol used to witness the killing of people during the Khmer Rouge period. In 1977, he heard from others who worked in the same unit that prisoners were sent to tortured. His lost two of his siblings,one is his younger brother called Loek Channdara and other one was his uncle called Koh Meas. They were both died in 1977. Nowaday, he sometime feels that it is hard for him to have a good breath and hard to sleep. He finds that some people are not reliable. He said the idea of having the Khmer Rouge tribunal is very important.
ឡឹក សំអុលឮពីឈ្មោះមេដឹកនាំខែ្មរក្រហមធំៗដូចជាឈ្មោះ តាយ៉ាវ តា០៩ តាស៊ីម ដែលកាន់កាប់ផែ្នកយោធា។ ឡឹក សំអុលធើ្វការជាប្រជាជនធម្មតានៅអំឡុងឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥-១៩៧៩។ ឡឹក សំអុល យល់ថាលូវគាត់មិនសូវទុកចិត្ដពីណាម្នាក់ឡើយ។ ឡឹក សំអុលបានឃើញពីការសម្លាប់មនុស្សផ្ទាល់នឹងភែ្នកនៅសម័យនោះ។ គាត់ធ្លាប់ឮពីអ្នកធើ្វការនៅការដÃបានជាមួយគ្នាថាអ្នកជាប់ទោសជាប់ឃុំឃាំងត្រូវបានពួកខែ្មរក្រហមយកទៅធើ្វទោស។ គាត់បានបាត់បង់ប្អូនបង្កើតរបស់គាត់ម្នាក់ឈ្មោះឡឹក ចាន់ដារ៉ា និងពូម្នាក់ឈ្មោះកោះមាសនៅក្នុងឆ្នាំ១៩៧៧។ សព្វថៃ្ង ឡឹក សំអុលម្ដង ម្កាលមានការថប់ដង្ហើម និងមានការលំបាកក្នុងការទទួលទានដំណេកជាខ្លាំង។ គាត់យល់ឃើញថាការបង្កើតអោយមានតុលាការកាត់ទោសមេដឹកនាំជាន់ខ្ពស់ខែ្មរក្រហមជាការសំខាន់
