Summary / Abstract :

Revenure remains buoyant, export earnings had increased by about Baht 300, 000, 000 over the previous year in spite of a poor rice crop. Most of the 1959 rice harvest is in and early reports indicate that is was a good crop. Relations with Thailand's neighbours, Burma, Malaya, and Laos were very good and tension with Cambodia had cased.
