'The month of June is truly the month of Cambodian-Chinese friendship.. if we can coexist peace fully and harmoniously with the Chinese, there is no reason, why it should not be the same with our socialist Vietnamese friends who are our neighbours. From a unified Vietnamese with socialist regime Cambodian would thus have nothing to fear, since Peking has given us edifying proof its determination to respect us'' San Yum leader of the counter government (counter government bulletin, 25 June).
