Snell grove informed us yesterday that the French had made known their views on this incident to the foreign office and had asked them to approach the Indians in Delhi on the question of competence, making clear to the Indians that the Cambodian commission was not competent to intervene in frontier disputes between Cambodia and South Vietnam.
