According to Western sources, the Thai reactionaty authorities recently appointed leutenant general (Sakhadine) commander of the Thai mercenary troops to to send to South Vietnam. This general already arrived in South Vietnam on 29 August to prepare for the arrived of a Thai mercenary regiment of 2.000 due in South Vietnam this fall.
