We asked foreign minister on March 25 (Bolle) for assessment of likely NLF and North Vietnamese support for Sihanouk's "Liberation Army" Bolle said French impression was that while endorsing Sihanouk's views neither would take any early military steps to establish such an army to overthrow Cambodian government and reinstate Sihanouk.
