Summary / Abstract :
|
While we warmly endorsed earlier Thai proposal to seek intervention of Hammarskjoeld as neutral third party (our 545) , improvement of Thai-Cambodian relations seems unlikely if that proposal should now itself become an issue. If Cambodia opposition is from Thai interests would seem better several by abandoning proposal of Cambodia insistence. This fact would stand in record of Thais credits.
