Summary / Abstract :

On 5th December Nguyen Van Thai called on nutter at the legation concerning the recent visit of Vietnamese journalists to Australia. Thai, himself , studied journalism in Australia in 1957 under Colombo plan scholarship, is currently writing a book on Australia, was appointed reuter correspondents in July of this year and is editor of a new Vietnam newspaper. Nutter has maintained close relations with him in attempting to encourage and guide him.
