I had a further discussion with warner at the Foreign Office this afternoon about the usefulness of action by the United Nations or preferably by Hammarskjoeld personally . He says that the Foreign Office, while up to now attracted to this idea, is inclined to feel that it would be best to leave Sihanouk alone, at least until they can Macdonald to see hem. Macdonald's visit was suggestion by Sihanouk himself and he maybe able to clarify what is in Sihanouk's mind.
