Following for your information only is extract from O.C.I, weekly report dated 11 June, 1959. The Laotian army has ended its ineffectual efforts to contain the rebellions Pathet Lao Battalion, and the prospect of armed clashes near the Communist North Vietnamese frontier has greatly diminished.
