Pathet Lao battalion according to such reports as we have received today, the battalion is still moving slowly eastwards. The Royal Army is in contact and negotiations continues. A Laotian military source told my military attache today however, in confidence, that if per suasion has achieved nothing by tomorrow night force will be used.
