Summary / Abstract :

On February this year the Chinese Government launched over 100,000 men into Northern Vietnam in what they described as a limited counter-attack. On March 5, they announced that their troops, having attained their objectives, were being withdrawn and the Chinese Foreign Minister told a press conference on March 16, that the withdrawal was complete.
